Wednesday Guest List: Marco! !

I received a list from Marco about a week ago. I'm a lazy, unorganised martyr of social responsiblities that has the innate ability to find 'synonyms' for the word no. This was supposed to be posted a week ago. Here you go...

The majority of the time when speaking to Marco you will realise that his train of thought is in some kind of À Bout De Souffle opening scene car chase. Yes, the road is straight, but unless you speak his language you have no idea what's really going on... and the subtitles are absolutely no help whatsoever. Luckily for me, Marco was able to convey his message to me in text form and I quickly deciphered it to discover....

Well... damn, it's refreshing to find kids like this out there. Not only is his taste in music slightly off the beaten track but he composes some of the most amazing arrangements I have heard for some time now.

Top 5 Albums: "From the last year or so (In no specific order)"

1. Leafcutter John - The Forest and The Sea
2. Xela - The Dead Sea
3. Manyfingers - Our Worn Shadows
4. Clark - Body Riddle Clark - Ted [MP3]
5. Yuichiro Fujimoto - The Mountain Record

Top 5 Songs: "On Sunday the 26th of November 2006 at 16:08 (otherwise it's impossible...)"

1. Porn Sword Tobacco - Thank You!
2. Opiate - Are You? Yes! [MP3]
3. Manyfingers - Interlude
4. Lusine - Dr. Chinme
5. Loess - 2nd Twelve [MP3]

Bonus: Like I said, it's a train-smash out there in the communicative world, so here a song that Marco likes - besides his picks for the time being (which have probably changed 348 times since then and might somehow include the following)

Herrmann & Kleine - Dagger [MP3]

By Our Guest:

So just one or two songs not to distract from what you really should be listening to...some of Marco's music (highly recommended)

Marco - Pleiades [MP3]
Marco - The Lobster Quadrille [MP3]
both from Shanks Mare To Valhalla

Marco also takes time out from composing magical things to remix cheese with concrete slabs:
Black Eyed Peas - Shut Up (Marco's Fuck the Silence Remix) [MP3]
(you just gotta love the "shut up, just shut up" part in Marco's version)
